Common questions
How does the instant price work?
Tell us what you're moving, your postcodes and the property type at each address, and the price is worked out straight away. It's fixed for everything you've told us. If there's more to move or access is different on the day, extra time is £100 per hour, and we'll always agree it with you first.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Your price covers everything you've told us about, including mileage, stairs, lifts, blankets, wrapping and insurance. There are no booking, admin or fuel charges. Your price only changes if your move changes, for example more to move or harder access on the day. Extra time is £100 per hour, and we always agree it with you first. If you've got less to move than you told us, let us know and we'll look at your price again.
How much is the deposit, and can I cancel?
The deposit is just £75, paid securely online, and it comes off your final bill. Cancel more than 7 days before your move and you get it back in full. Within 7 days it's non-refundable. You can also change your date once for free with more than 7 days' notice.
Do you take wardrobes apart?
We move wardrobes whole wherever they fit. We don't take apart or rebuild wardrobes, especially flat-pack ones, so if yours won't fit through the doors, please have it taken apart before moving day. Beds are taken apart and put back together as standard.
Are you insured?
Yes. AG Removals is fully insured, and your belongings are covered from loading to unloading.
Will I speak to someone before my move?
Yes. Once you've booked, Adam will personally message or call you within 24 hours to go through the details. Sending us photos of the parking, entrances, stairs and any very large items on WhatsApp helps us plan everything properly.
Do you move outside the West Midlands?
